The Berne Apparel J58 Men's Vintage Washed Sherpa-Lined Work Jacket is the non-hooded counterpart to the hooded HJ57, using the same 12 oz. 100% cotton sanded duck shell that has been vintage-washed for a softened, broken-in feel from the first wear. The body is lined with heavyweight polyester sherpa for maximum torso warmth; sleeves use medium-weight insulation quilted to polyester taffeta. The J58 is a classic gasoline-style work jacket in the Berne Vintage collection.
A corduroy collar provides a tactile vintage-workwear aesthetic. A heavy-duty brass front zipper with snap closure storm flap seals the front against wind and precipitation. Reinforced nylon cuffs and an extended back prevent heat escape at the wrists and lower back. Three inside pockets, two snap-close chest pockets, and two front on-seam pockets provide comprehensive storage. Pleated elbows and action back allow range of motion.
