The Berne Apparel V818 Men's Heartland Sherpa-Lined Washed Duck Vest uses 12 oz. 100% cotton sanded duck — heavier than the V812's 10 oz. cotton duck — with a heavyweight sherpa lining throughout rather than the V812's quilt-lined taffeta. The sherpa lining delivers a plush, warm feel that is distinct from quilted insulation. Sherpa-lined front pockets add hand warmth in addition to the vest body warmth. A zip-through collar provides a stand-up collar option for additional neck coverage. The extended back prevents lower back exposure.
A brass front zipper provides the main closure. Triple-needle stitched main seams and reinforced bartacks at all stress points provide construction durability appropriate for hard-use work environments. Three inside chest pockets include a right zippered pocket and zippered left chest pocket plus two front pockets for comprehensive on-body storage.
