The Berne Apparel HJ626 Men's Heartland Washed Duck Hooded Work Coat uses 12 oz. 100% cotton sanded duck — the same weight as the HJ375, but the HJ626 uses a heavyweight sherpa body lining rather than the HJ375's heavyweight quilted taffeta. The sherpa-lined body delivers a plush interior warmth feel. Sleeve lining is medium-weight insulation quilted to polyester taffeta. The coat format (vs jacket) provides a longer body length and an extended back to prevent lower back exposure during bending and kneeling on the job.
A three-piece lined hood with drawstring provides head coverage. Hidden knit storm cuffs block wind and cold at the wrist inside the sleeve. Side vents with snap closure allow ventilation or can be closed to trap heat. Pleated elbows and action back extend range of motion. Heavy-duty brass front zipper with triple-needle stitched main seams provide construction durability. Storage includes three inside chest pockets (left with zipper) and two angled front welt pockets.
