The Gildan 65000 Unisex Softstyle® Midweight T-Shirt fills the gap between the lightweight 64000 Softstyle® (4.5 oz., 30 singles) and the Heavy Cotton® 5000 (5.3 oz., 20 singles open-end yarn) — using 5.3 oz., 100% ring-spun cotton at 24 singles for a midweight ring-spun tee that provides more body and structure than the 64000 while retaining the softness advantage of ring-spun yarn over the open-end 5000.

At 24 singles (between the 64000’s 30 singles and the 5000’s 20 singles), the 65000 yarn produces a slightly thicker, more substantial yarn than the lightweight 64000 while still being softer and smoother than open-end cotton.
