The fabric, protection rating, and construction are identical: 12.5 oz./yd² 98/2 cotton/spandex elastane flame-resistant stretch denim, ATPV arc rating of 21 cal/cm², and dual Category 2 certification under both NFPA 2112 (2023) and NFPA 70E — covering flash fire and arc flash hazard environments. Women working in oil and gas, utilities, electrical, and manufacturing environments who wear extended sizes face a persistent gap in women's FR workwear: most styles stop at size 20 or a modest 2XL. The PSJCEXT closes that gap, delivering the same stretch, protection, and construction that the PSJC provides in standard sizes — without requiring workers to wear ill-fitting men's FR gear.
