The Berne Apparel HJ67 Men's Highland Quilt-Lined Micro-Duck Hooded Jacket is built from 4.7 oz./yd² 60/40 cotton/polyester sanded duck — what Berne calls micro-duck. At 4.7 oz., this is dramatically lighter than the 10–12 oz. cotton duck of the HJ51, HJ375, and HJ626 series. Micro-duck maintains the abrasion resistance and water/wind resistance characteristic of cotton duck fabric while delivering a much lighter, more packable jacket appropriate for mild to moderate conditions. The 60/40 cotton/polyester blend provides better moisture management than 100% cotton duck.

Body lining is heavyweight insulation quilted to polyester taffeta; the hood is lined with heavyweight sherpa for head warmth. Water-resistant and wind-resistant finish blocks the elements. An outside storm flap and hidden rib-knit cuffs trap warmth at the wrist. Extended body length provides more coverage at the hips and lower back than a standard jacket length. Fleece-lined side entry pockets and two front pockets with snap closure complete the storage. A three-piece sherpa-lined hood with drawstring provides head and neck warmth.
