The Berne Apparel HJ317 Men's Highland Flex180 Washed Duck Hooded Work Jacket is built from a 12 oz. 100% cotton sanded duck shell — the same super-duty washed duck weight used in the HJ375 and HJ626, with the distinctive addition of Flex180 technology. The Flex180 system integrates three mobility-enhancing elements that distinguish the HJ317 from standard washed duck jackets: vented underarm gussets that allow arm elevation without binding, flexible elbow inserts that pre-shape the sleeve for natural arm positioning, and an extreme-stretch action back that provides exceptional range of motion for physical overhead work.
The body lining is arctic-weight polyester stretch sherpa — the warmest body lining in the standard Berne hooded jacket lineup, providing premium warmth appropriate for extreme cold-weather work. Sleeve lining is medium-weight insulation quilted to taffeta. A heavy-duty brass front zipper provides the closure.
