The Alleson Athletic 689S is a compression-style integrated football pant that combines high-abrasion stretch fabric with a full complement of sewn-in protection. Built from 9 oz./yd² 88/12 polyester/spandex, the fabric delivers the secure, close-to-body fit of compression shorts with the functional protection of a padded football pant — without the bulk of traditional DKP construction.
Five sewn-in EVA foam pads protect the hips, knees, and tailbone, while two thigh pads with rigid plastic inserts provide additional lateral thigh protection. The combination provides seven total padded zones in an all-in-one construction. A 5-panel no-fly crotch contributes to the clean, compression-style silhouette. An attached self-material belt maintains proper positioning at the waist, and cover seaming with bar tacking at stress points ensures durability through repeated use and washing. The 689S is machine washable, supporting practical laundering for teams and programs.
