The YP Classics 5389BD Five-Panel Perforated Rope Cap combines five-panel construction with performance materials and laser-cut ventilation — a more technically sophisticated cap than the cotton 5079BD it shares a panel count and rope braid with. Built from 95/5 polyester/PU spandex, the fabric provides a smoother, more structured panel surface than natural fiber alternatives while the spandex component contributes a subtle stretch recovery throughout the panel construction. Laser-cut perforation on the side and back panels creates an active ventilation pattern without the structural disruption of inserted mesh panels. The perforations allow airflow through the solid panel construction, making this cap significantly more breathable than a solid-panel performance cap while maintaining the full, structured silhouette of the high-profile five-panel design. The perforations also create a visual texture pattern across the side and back panels that adds design character. A Permacurv® bill maintains its curve through wear and washing. A silver underbill is the distinctive finishing detail at the bill underside, providing a clean, premium accent while reducing upward sun glare.
