The wide-set nylon mesh back provides dramatically more airflow than standard trucker mesh, addressing the heat buildup that active outdoor use generates. The 50/50 nylon/polyester ripstop front panels are lightweight, abrasion-resistant, and fast-drying - performing equally well on the water, on the trail, or under pack straps.

The most distinctive feature of the 935 is its foam bill construction: the bill is foldable, packable, and - critically - buoyant. This means the 935 will float if it goes overboard during kayaking, rafting, or fishing, allowing recovery in situations where a conventional structured cap would be lost. The bill can be folded flat for storage in a pack or drybag without permanently creasing the brim, making the 935 genuinely compatible with the packdown requirements of backcountry travel.
