The Red Kap KP18 Unisex Gripper Front Lab Coat is the gripper-front alternative to the KP14 button-front lab coat—same 5 oz. 80/20 polyester/cotton poplin fabric and lined notch lapel, but with five grippers instead of buttons and an interior (rather than exterior) chest pocket. In environments where metal buttons create a safety or contamination concern, or where workers need faster coat donning and removal, the KP18 is the practical alternative.
Five grippers close the front. An interior left chest pocket with bartacked pencil stall keeps pen storage behind the coat face for a clean exterior. Two lower exterior pockets provide accessible working storage.
