The Harriton M711 Unisex ClimaBloc Lined Heavyweight Hooded Sweatshirt is engineered for cold-weather outdoor use and workwear applications that go beyond what a standard hooded sweatshirt can provide. At 11 oz./yd², the 70/30 cotton/polyester crossweave fleece shell is a significantly heavier outer fabric than standard 7–8 oz. fleece—providing substantially greater warmth and wind resistance. The defining feature that separates the M711 from standard hooded sweatshirts is the ClimaBloc thermal lining: a 60/40 cotton/polyester thermal lining bonded to the inner surface of the shell (in grey heather for all exterior colors), adding an insulating layer that traps body heat without the bulk of a separate liner garment.

A water-repellent surface treatment resists light rain and moisture, extending the jacket's usability in variable outdoor conditions.
