The Hanes 5170 EcoSmart T-Shirt is one of the most widely used 50/50 blanks in the wholesale apparel market. At 5 oz./yd2, the 50/50 cotton/polyester blend balances the soft feel of cotton with the shape retention and quicker drying time of polyester. The polyester content is currently transitioning to CiCLO® polyester, designed to reduce the accumulation of synthetic microfibers in the environment.
Construction features include a set-in 1x1 ribbed crewneck, self-fabric neck tape, double-needle sleeves and bottom hem, and a quarter-turned body to eliminate center-front creasing. Shoulder-to-shoulder taping supports shape across washes. Tear-away label keeps the neckline print-ready. Pre-shrunk construction. OEKO-TEX and FLA certified per S&S Activewear.
