The Gildan 3000 Unisex Light Cotton® T-Shirt is Gildan’s lightweight refined cotton tee — a 4.45 oz., 100% US cotton, 30 singles tee in a modern classic fit that bridges the gap between the heavyweight 6 oz. Ultra Cotton® (2000) and the fashion-weight softstyle tees.
The 30 singles ring-spun yarn (versus the 18 singles of the Ultra Cotton®) produces a significantly finer, smoother yarn that creates a softer hand-feel and a higher-quality print surface at a lighter 4.45 oz. weight. The narrow-width rib collar and modern classic fit (slightly more tailored than the classic fit of the 2000) position the 3000 for retail-quality branded merchandise and higher-end promotional programs.
