The econscious EC5500 Unisex Heritage Hooded Sweatshirt is econscious’s flagship heavyweight pullover hoodie — a 9 oz., 80/20 organic cotton/recycled polyester fleece that enzyme-washes each garment after construction for a permanently softened hand-feel and a vintage-inflected appearance from first wear.
Enzyme washing exposes the garment to biological enzymes that selectively break down surface fibers, creating a naturally softer, broken-in texture that standard fleece hoodies achieve only after many wash cycles. The process also creates subtle tonal variation that reads as authentic vintage character rather than uniform manufactured finish.
A lined hood provides a smooth, comfortable interior against the face. Clean-finished neck seam with woven tape reinforces the hood-body junction. 2x1 cotton-spandex rib at cuffs and waistband provides structured fit with mild stretch recovery. Double-needle cover stitched seams provide seam durability throughout. Front pouch pocket. Tear away label for clean custom labeling. Made in a SEDEX SMETA audited facility.
