The econscious EC1000 Unisex Classic T-Shirt is econscious’s foundational sustainable tee — a 5.5 oz., 100% organic ring-spun cotton jersey that applies the same midweight premium-tee construction standard set by leading conventional cotton blanks, but built entirely from certified organic cotton without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or harmful growing chemicals.
At 5.5 oz., the EC1000 is a midweight jersey that provides substantial body and durability for a t-shirt — heavier than fashion-weight 4.3–4.5 oz. alternatives, but lighter than the heavyweight 6.1 oz. blank-market standard. Ring-spun construction creates a tighter, stronger, and softer yarn than carded-only alternatives, producing a jersey with a premium hand-feel that reflects the quality of the organic cotton sourcing.
Double-needle cover stitching at seams provides durability. An organic cotton fiber rib neck provides structured collar finish. A shoulder seam clean-finished with self-fabric tape reinforces the highest-stress seam on the garment. Side seams provide structured construction. Tear away label allows clean custom labeling.
