The DRI DUCK 5028 Maverick Jacket is the blanket-lined Boulder Cloth™ jacket in the DRI DUCK outerwear line — using the same 12 oz., garment-washed, 100% cotton quarry-washed Boulder Cloth™ canvas shell as the Cheyenne (5020) but replacing the diamond quilted tricot lining with a soft plaid 100% acrylic blanket lining for a more traditional, rancher and tradesperson aesthetic.
Blanket-lined canvas jackets are a distinctly American workwear tradition associated with ranching, farming, construction, and outdoor trades — the blanket lining’s heavy warmth and the canvas shell’s rugged protection creating a combination that has outfitted American tradespeople since the mid-20th century.
