The Dickies C798 Men’s Rugged Twill Pants are Dickies’ StayDark® technology work pant, built from a 10 oz./yd², 65/35 polyester/cotton rugged twill that applies proprietary color-retention technology to maintain the richness of dark colors through repeated industrial laundering cycles that would typically fade standard-dyed fabrics.
The rugged twill construction at 10 oz. is heavier than the standard 8.5 oz. twill of the 8388 and 8528, providing increased abrasion resistance and a more substantial hand feel. The StayDark® finish is specifically designed for programs that require uniform color consistency across a fleet — automotive dealerships, maintenance operations, and customer-facing service businesses where faded uniforms undermine brand presentation.
A five-pocket jean-style layout includes front scoop pockets with a watch pocket, spade back pockets, and a multi-use cell phone pocket on the leg. The wrinkle-resistant and tear-resistant construction supports consistent appearance. Metal tack button closure and a folder-set 1.5"""" waistband complete the construction.
