The Bulwark VMV4HV Men’s Hi-Visibility FR Safety Vest is a lightweight, uninsulated FR safety vest for environments where both arc flash protection and site visibility are required over FR work clothing. The fabric is CoolTouch® 2 — 7 oz. (235 g/m²) 48% modacrylic/37% lyocell/15% aramid — an inherently FR blend that maintains flame resistance through the vest’s service life.
Hook-and-loop front closure secures the vest quickly without hardware that could snag on FR shirts worn underneath. Adjustable sides allow the vest to fit over FR shirts, coveralls, and light outerwear. 360° visibility is provided by parallel 2-inch FR silver reflective striping at the front and back, meeting ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R, Class 2 compliance. Designed to be worn over other clothing as a top PPE layer. NFPA® 2112 compliant with arc rating ATPV 9 cal/cm² (Category 2).
