The Bulwark SMZ4HV Men’s Hi-Visibility Zip-Front FR Hooded Fleece Sweatshirt with Waffle Lining is the zip-front variant of the FR hi-vis hoodie system, delivering the same ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R, Class 3 compliance and CAT 3 FR protection as the pullover SMB4. The shell is 10.5 oz./yd² (355 g/m²) 67% modacrylic/29% cotton/4% polyester flame-resistant fleece, with a 7 oz./yd² (235 g/m²) 55% modacrylic/45% cotton waffle-weave knit lining that significantly boosts the arc rating over the unlined SMH4.
360° visibility is provided by 2-inch flame-resistant heat-seal silver reflective striping at the front and back. A double-ply hood with drawcord closure provides head and neck coverage in cold conditions. A full zip front allows the sweatshirt to be opened completely for layering control. Rib knit cuffs and waistband seal the sleeve ends and waist. Two hand warmer pockets include a concealed smaller pocket inside the right front pocket. NFPA® 2112 compliant. Tall sizes under SMZ4HVT.
