The Bulwark JLP8 Men's Heavyweight Insulated Deluxe Parka Jacket is engineered for cold-weather industrial environments requiring Category 3 FR protection alongside substantial insulation and weatherproofing. The shell is Westex Ultrasoft® EXCEL FR ComforTouch 7 oz. (235 g/m²) twill — 88% cotton, 12% nylon, water-repellent — and the insulation package is 12 oz. (405 g/m²) 100% modacrylic, providing significant warmth without excessive weight. The interior lining is 100% cotton.
A two-way separating heavy-duty Nomex®-taped brass zipper with an insulated storm flap and concealed snap provides the front closure. A fully insulated stand-up collar and knit storm cuffs with hook-and-loop suppression tabs seal the collar and sleeve ends against heat loss. Three large patch pockets with concealed snaps (lower pockets with hand warmers), one inside chest pocket, and a sleeve pocket provide storage. A deep-pleated action back and elastic inserts at the waist across the back allow free movement. An internal snow belt prevents cold air from entering at the bottom. Accommodates snap-on hoods sold separately.
