The Bulwark HNL2 is a lightweight flame-resistant hard hat liner designed for industrial workers who need cold-weather head protection without compromising arc flash and flame-resistant compliance. The shell is constructed from 4.5 oz. Nomex® IIIA fabric—a 93% Nomex® Aramid/5% Kevlar® Aramid/2% other fiber blend—providing inherent flame resistance that does not wash out over time.
An FR insulation package rated at 10 oz. with 90% Aramid/10% FR Rayon quilted construction adds thermal insulation under the hard hat in cold outdoor environments. A 100% Meta-Aramid lining adds a soft interior layer between the insulation and the wearer’s head. The liner earns a CAT 3 arc rating with an Energy Breakopen Threshold (EBT) of 37.0 cal/cm², meeting the protection requirements of environments with significant arc flash hazard exposure. A hook-and-loop chin strap secures the liner in place, and button holes accommodate standard four-point hard hat suspension systems.
