The Berne Apparel WV16 Women's Insulated Flannel Vest is built from 4 oz. 100% cotton flannel — a lightweight brushed-cotton shell that is fundamentally different from the 10 oz. cotton duck of the WV15. At 4 oz., this vest is intended for mild-weather layering or indoor/light outdoor use rather than heavy-duty cold-weather protection. The lining is lightweight insulation quilted to heavyweight polyester fleece, which provides warmth without the bulk of heavyweight quilted constructions.
A zip-through collar provides a stand-up collar option for additional neck warmth. A drop tail provides more coverage at the lower back than a standard vest hem. Fleece-lined front pockets provide hand warmth along with storage. A durable nylon front zipper provides the closure. Women's-specific cut and proportioning.
