The Berne Apparel SP418 Men's Heritage Zip Pocket Hooded Sweatshirt is built from 9 oz./yd² 52/48 cotton/polyester fleece — a nearly equal cotton/polyester blend that positions the SP418 between the more cotton-dominant SP401 (60/40) and a standard polyester performance fleece. A 52/48 blend provides good shape retention from the polyester content with the cotton-dominant soft hand feel.
The defining feature of the SP418 is its pouch pocket with a concealed zipper — a pocket that appears as a standard kangaroo pouch from the exterior but opens via a hidden zipper inside the pocket, providing secure storage for valuables without an externally visible zipper. A three-piece hood with drawcord provides head coverage with cinching capability. Ribbed-knit cuffs and waistband provide a secure fit. Reinforced bartacks at all stress points prevent tearing. This is a pullover hoodie — not a zip-front.
