A raw edge hem creates the cut-off aesthetic without the fraying of a literal cut garment — the edge is intentionally unfinished for a relaxed, lived-in look. A longer length provides more coverage than typical athletic shorts. A hidden drawcord allows waist adjustment without external hardware visible at the waistband. Side pockets add functional storage.
