The Bayside 930 Unisex USA-Made Super Heavy Thermal Lined Hooded Sweatshirt is the heaviest and most insulating hooded sweatshirt in Bayside's domestic production lineup — a 17 oz./yd² combined-weight garment comprised of two full fabric layers: a 9.5 oz./yd² 80/20 cotton/polyester outer fleece shell and a 7.5 oz./yd² 100% pre-shrunk cotton waffle knit thermal interior lining. The dual-layer construction delivers insulation performance unlike any single-fabric sweatshirt.
The 9.5 oz. fleece outer provides the familiar, warm exterior surface of a heavyweight hooded sweatshirt — the same outer construction as Bayside's standard 9.5 oz. domestic fleece line. The waffle knit thermal interior adds a second full fabric layer inside the hoodie that traps a significant air column between the two layers, amplifying the insulation value far beyond what either layer could provide alone. For cold-weather outdoor use, construction site wear, outdoor event outfitting, and any program that needs the maximum insulation a single wholesale garment can provide, the 930 has no domestic equivalent.
The double-lined hood adds a third layer at the head for additional cold protection. Matching drawcords allow hood closure in severe conditions. A front pouch pocket provides hand warmth.
