The Augusta Sportswear 9601 Youth Gridiron Integrated Football Pants give young athletes the same complete protection package as the adult Gridiron in a pant sized for youth players. Built from 100% polyester double knit, the pants are durable and breathable for practice and game use.
Seven sewn-in EVA pads cover the hips, tailbone, thighs, and knees, targeting the contact points most relevant for youth-level play. Perforated hip and tailbone pads improve airflow during active play, while thigh pads reinforced with a plastic core provide additional durability. Contoured knee pads round out the protection package. A full-length self-fabric belt with D-ring closure allows coaches and athletes to adjust fit, and a no-fly front keeps the profile clean under a jersey. The entire pant with all pads is machine washable, simplifying laundry management for team equipment staff. The companion adult style is Augusta 9600.
