Five sewn-in perforated EVA foam pads protect the hips, knees, and tailbone — the primary zones of impact during football play. Two additional thigh pads feature rigid plastic inserts for enhanced lateral protection. All seven pads are permanently integrated, removing the need for repositioning or replacement across a season of use. An attached self-material belt with chrome ring hardware provides a traditional, secure fit at the waist, while cover seaming throughout reinforces the garment in high-stress areas.
The 687P is machine washable, a practical feature for programs that handle their own laundering.
